Chu Dong Tu Temple is sited about 15 miles from Hanoi, in Yen Vinh village (Quang Minh, Khoai Chau, Hung Yen). The Temple was built to worship Chu Dong Tu, who has been respected as one of the four immortals in Vietnamese folk beliefs, and his loving wife – Princess Tien Dung. It has a very specified architectural design with noon gate consisting of 3 doors – one main door and 2 sides doors. Inside the Temple, after crossing the yard, tourists will easily reach to the main altar house, then, the incense-burning house, the second, third, and, the last palace. Go to Chu Dong Tu Temple, visitors and pilgrims also have the chance to see many precious relics, including a priceless pair of Bach Tho vases. Additionally, if you want to experience unique features of Chu Dong Tu Temple Festival, keep in mind to visit this destination from the 10th to 12th day of the 2nd month in lunar calendar.
