CUTE FRUIT-SHAPED BUS STOPS IN JAPAN

With the shapes of watermelon, apple, lemon, etc. these cute bus stops attract not only the local but also tourists.
The bus stops were firstly launched in 1990. After 25 years,
these places still work well without any repairs.

Muskmelon is a kind of fruit selected to design the bus stops.
Besides, there are also orange, strawberry, watermelon and tomato.

The bus stop has a sphere -shaped design, inside is arch – shaped
bench sticking into the walls.

The souvenirs relating to the bus stops are also sold well.

An orange-shaped bus stop also puts outside bench
for passengers to enjoy the sea air of the town.
