Noong Lake encompasses a mystical and alluring beauty that has long been considered the wonderland of Ha Giang.
Noong Lake is well-known for its “trees floating on the water” and is located about 15 kilometers from Ha Giang city. The thing that makes this spot stand out from all the other lake is trees growing in it. Visitors will catch sight of dead and alive trees together with water logged in the midst of the lake.

Seasons in Nong Lake

There are two major seasons including the rainy season (from April to October) and dry season (from November to March). In the rainy season, when the water level is high (80 hectares in lake’s water surface), you may wander on canoe or raft to enjoy the beauty of this destination. Local people will take advantage of land around the lake to grow some vegetables in dry season.
